A visual artist from Togo and Côte d'Ivoire, Christelle Adjetey has always been fascinated by natural shapes and patterns, an interest that has led her to explore these elements in her art. She began her artistic career at a very young age, but it was in 2020 that she decided to take a one-year artistic training at the Bozart workshop in Lomé, with the visual artist Agbo Denis.
Along the way, in 2022, she truly found her voice through complex and methodical compositions. Today, she continues to explore the boundaries of abstraction and drawing, creating pieces that invite the viewer to meditate on nature, the form and the flow of life.
Christelle Adjetey has presented her work at various local and international exhibitions. She also regularly runs painting workshops for children and adults in various cultural centres in Togo, Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire. The works from her latest workshop at the Palais de Lomé, with disadvantaged children, are currently on display in this museum.
