Born in 1994, Setonou Djedatin is a visual artist from Benin. She works in the field of visual arts, mainly painting, and has developed a highly personal body of work marked by intimate, social, and symbolic narratives. Djedatin describes herself as inspired “by moments she has experienced”: her pictorial universe is born from a mixture of personal experiences, memories, and imagination. The artist's work explores memory, identity, nostalgia, childhood, and, more broadly, life stories. Through her colors, shapes, and objects, she reconstructs sensitive spaces where reality and imagination intersect.
