Mixed media, paper bags, cardboard, luxury, seduction, neo-colonialism

Willys Kezi is re-visiting the Tahitian paintings by Paul Gaugin, introducing a new meaning into this highly colonial portraiture. Showing the extreme vulnerability of these women, the artist propulses us into present times where immigrant women continue to be exploited as sex workers in Europe.
